At Royal Theater Academy, we celebrate the magic that happens when families share the stage. Our productions are designed to be a welcoming space for adults to participate whether you’re returning to the spotlight or trying theater for the very first time. There’s something truly special about parents, siblings, and children performing together, and we’re proud to foster that connection.

With about 80% of our adult performers participating alongside their children, our pricing structure reflects our commitment to inclusivity, fairness, and family-first values. We’ve created options that encourage family participation while still remaining accessible to adults who may not have children in the cast.

Whether you’re here to shine on stage, support your child, or do both—there’s a place for you at RTA

Financial Support

At Royal Theater Academy, we believe theater should be accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. Our commitment to inclusivity and care is lived out through a range of support options, including partial scholarships and work-trade opportunities that help families stay involved without financial strain. We’re proud to honor this commitment through the K-Grand Scholarship Fund, inspired by Miss Kristina Grand, who devoted over 12 years to uplifting young artists in the Tri-Valley community. Thanks to her legacy, we continue to create space for every performer to grow, belong, and shine on stage.

At RTA, our scholarship and work-trade programs are designed to support families who need a little help making theater possible. We offer financial assistance based on household income and dependents through a simple online application. Our goal is to create a plan that’s manageable, respectful, and tailored to your family’s needs, regardless of which pass level you choose.

For families facing financial barriers, we also offer skill-based work-trade opportunities. If you have talents in sewing, painting, building, marketing, or other helpful areas, we’re happy to explore ways to exchange your time and expertise for account credit. While these opportunities are prioritized for families who demonstrate financial need, we deeply value the collaborative spirit this brings to our community.

Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and we aim to award 5–10 scholarships per year, with ongoing fundraising efforts to increase that number. Communication is key, we’re here to help and happy to work with you to keep the arts accessible for everyone.
