After a successful opening session of classes in 2025, we’re thrilled to announce exciting updates to our offerings! As we reflect on our first session, we’ve refocused our mission of “Nurturing the theater artist in everyone from the inside out” to provide a comprehensive musical theater education for performers of all ages and experience levels.
At Royal Theater Academy, we believe that every individual has a unique voice and artistic expression. Our mission is to nurture this creative spark, providing personalized and inclusive programs that cater to diverse needs and goals. Closing night is always that mix of so full and so sad — proud of what the cast created, but not quite ready to say goodbye.

🎤 Now Hiring: Private Vocal Teacher 🎶
Royal Theater Academy is seeking a Private Vocal Teacher to join our growing studio team beginning as early as February 10.
Schedule:
Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Guaranteed Studio Load:
Four private students guaranteed to start
Pay Rate:
$50 per hour
Private Vocal Teachers at Royal Theater Academy support student growth through structured technique, musical development, and performance readiness. Instruction focuses on:
Pitch Development
Supporting accurate pitch production, ear training, breath control, and vocal placement while strengthening the connection between ear and voice through targeted exercises and technique work.
Memorization Skills
Helping students commit melodies, lyrics, and musical structure to memory using repetition, visualization, sectional breakdowns, and consistent practice strategies.
Diction and Clarity
Teaching clear articulation, vowel shaping, and consonant precision through phonetic awareness, tongue placement, and targeted diction exercises.
Performance and Stage Presence
Coaching confident, engaging performance skills including emotional storytelling, audience connection, physical expression, and stage presence development.
Ideal Candidate:
✔️Experience teaching private vocal lessons or group voice instruction
✔️Strong understanding of vocal technique and performance fundamentals
✔️Ability to work with youth and teen performers
✔️Professional communication skills with students and families
✔️Reliable weekly availability and strong studio professionalism
✔️Interest in musical theater training and performance development preferred
