COVID Policy

Royal Theater Academy asks our audiences to join with us in providing the safest space possible for patrons, cast, crew, and staff. We are committed to providing an unforgettable experience for all guests. To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, we have developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan, which follows the most current guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the California Department of Public Health and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) related to COVID-19.

As public health conditions and the State’s guidance for performing arts and live entertainment change, we will remain flexible and adapt to applicable health protocols. These protocols may change between the time you purchase your ticket and the date of the performance.

COVID-19 vaccinations are highly recommended but not required. However, all persons must continue to wear a face covering at all times when indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Types of face coverings NOT allowed: gaiters, bandanas, and masks with valves.

Exemptions to the mask requirements include:

  • Patrons who are actively eating or drinking.
  • Patrons with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a mask.
  • Patrons who are hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication.
