Royal Theater Academy is a family educational theater company designed to nurture the artist in every one of us. From seasoned performers to amateurs young and old, R.T.A. has a unique way of including everyone that has a love for theater, family, community connection and desire to take the stage.
ABOUT US
Royal Theater Academy is a family based community educational theater program dedicated to providing a safe loving environment for students of all ages, to grow their passion, love and skill for the performing arts. Royal Theater Academy’s leadership has 20+ years of combined experience in community and educational theater and have created a unique, all inclusive platform, for the community to participate in large cast productions of some of the most magical and classical musicals such as “Peter Pan”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Mary Poppins”. Everyone that registers for a RTA production is automatically placed into the performance ensemble, and eligible to audition for a lead role.
RTA desires to take on the aspirations of its Mother program “Grand Performing Arts” and be a leading force in mixing Arts & Hearts. Resulting in a product that is absolutely life changing both on and off the stage. Follow along with us on our journey as we initiate a space to take private and group classes in singing, acting, and dancing within the next 2 years, as we are working to offer our community a full blown educational performing arts studio by 2024! Livermore High School Theater
The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the benevolent victim, Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Fearing the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap him back, threatening Oliver’s chances of discovering the true love of a family. Oliver Twist Is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

When we think about long-time, dedicated, and loving RTA family members, we can never leave out the Wong-Vallados! Their son, Jayden, has been a performer since the Grand Performing Art era, starting with The Little Mermaid in 2016, and has continuously grown and matured throughout the years, making friends at every turn. Judyanne also performs in the ensemble when her busy schedule allows, and Man always lends a hand whenever possible.
